St. Johns mission and vision for our community is
connected to our call to reach out and share the love
of Christ. For St. Johns, outreach is all about connection
our connection to God, our faith, each other, our
world, and our vision. Being connected is vital to the
life of St. Johns because when we feel connected, we
feel empowered to participate in outreach and the call
of St. Johns. Outreach is divided into 5 Cs of Connection
Compassion, Celebration, Commitment, Community, and
Connection, representing the different areas we connect
in church. They are not isolated, but interconnected.

Outreach in COMPASSION is connecting all to service. As brothers and sisters
in Christ, we are connected to our community and world.
Outreach is both inviting the least of these into
our family and going out into the world in service.
Outreach in CELEBRATION is connecting all to Gods presence. Outreach begins
with our connection with God in worship and in our lives.
In worship, we are reminded and reassured of our identity
as Gods children and our call to invite and welcome
others into the presence of God.
Outreach in COMMITMENT is connecting all to ones faith. Our commitment to
God, the church, and each other is a sign of our spiritual
maturity in our faith. We are all connected to a common
call as children of God. We commit to that call as our
response to Gods love and our desire to share Gods
compassion.
Outreach in COMMUNITY is connecting each to one another. God calls us to be
in community. As a community of faith, we are connected
to each other in faith, love, and hope. Outreach involves
inviting others to be a part of our church family by
supporting and empowering one another to use our God-given
gifts.
Outreach in CONNECTION is connecting all to our vision. Outreach involves communicating
Gods call and vision in everything we do so that all
are connected to the mission of the church.
