ROCKY ROAD ICE CREAM
From Road to Damascus Lesson Set

Supplies:
Chocolate ice cream (softened)
Mini-marshmallows
Chocolate syrup (that hardens when dry)
Chocolate sprinkles

Step 1
Scoop some softened chocolate ice cream in a bowl.
It represented the darkness that covered Saul's soul before the he traveled the road.

Step 2
Add mini-marshmallows, representing the blinding flash.

Step 3
Add one of the syrups that dry to a hard shell to represent the darkness Saul was in after the flash of light.

Step 4
Mix everything up and break the chocolate shell into pieces. 
This reminds us of the "scales" that fell from
Saul's eyes when he could see again.

Step 5
Use nuts to remind us that God said Saul would have
a rocky road to travel.
Mix it all up and enjoy.
